The massive acoustic fingerprint of a 19th-century Great Hall, immortalized.
Great Hall Powerchords (Free Edition) is a raw, cinematic guitar tool designed for texture, energy, and character. We recorded the heavy power chord performances of artist Rhesus Positive in a triple-height, stone and timber hall located on the Jurassic Coast of England.
Going beyond standard dry recordings, this instrument captures the living sound of the amplifier interacting with a massive physical space, delivering a natural depth and power that adds immediate scale to your tracks.
This Free Edition Features:
The "Curated" Sound: A professionally mixed stereo signal blending a selection of mic positions and including the natural reverb of the Hall.
Range: Playable power chords (C2 - A3), suitable for both deep rhythmic riffs and melodic lines.
Dynamic Performance: Pre-mapped Expression (CC11) for musical swells and Filter Cutoff (CC1) for tonal shaping.
Essential Controls: Simple Attack and Release controls to fit the sound into your mix.
Format: Runs in the free Decent Sampler plugin (VST/AU/AAX).
